CHAT GAME RULES
1. Chat games can be played at any time, around the clock. However, there may be times when there are not enough players to warrant games or a Guide may not be able to keep their schedule. Please be patient if that happens — the games will resume in a short time.
2. If a Host's game freezes, there are no games until they return.
3. Guides are often in the room when they are not scheduled. Please do not ask them to host games if it is not their scheduled time. They may want to enjoy playing without having to track games!
4. While a BingoFunHouse guide or CM is running chat games, their spouse's, or any other household member's account(s) are not eligible for chat game wins.
5. A player must be in chat and purchase a minimum $1 worth of bingo cards per game to receive chat game credits. Players who have not funded their BFH account or are not active players are not eligible to receive chat game credits.
6. A player may win a maximum of three (3) chat games per hour.
CHAT GAME INFORMATION
Progressive Piggy Bank

Played daily from 5 to 8am Eastern Time (2-5am Pacific) This is a progressive chat game that starts with $1 in the Piggy Bank and can grow up to $50! The person below a bingo game winner in the chat list wins the amount in the Piggy Bank if the person above them bingos on the Piggy Bank number. The first number called on the 5am (Eastern) Coverall is the Piggy Bank number for the day. Every time the Piggy Bank number is called during while Progressive Piggy Bank is being played the roomies need to write "PIGGY" in the chat window so that the guide can add $1 to the Piggy Bank. If the Piggy Bank is won then the first number called on the following game become the new Piggy Bank Number. If no one wins the Piggy Bank Prize by the end of the Progressive Piggy Bank chat game, then the amount for that day is carried over to the next day and is that day's starting amount.

Keno

Played daily, from Noon to 2pm Eastern (9-11am Pacific) Each player selects three numbers and gives them to the Guide. The Guide keeps a record of each player's Keno numbers. Each player is responsible for watching for his or her own numbers to be called. When a player thinks all three of their numbers have been called, they type KENO into the chat window, using capital letters. The Guide then verifies that the player's numbers have been called and awards the prize. The guide will announce the prize amount prior to each game's first call. Once selected, Keno numbers cannot be changed until the Keno session ends.

Potluck

Played nightly, from 6-8pm Eastern (3-5pm Pacific) Players pick both a number they feel will be a first ball out of the hopper and a number they feel will be a last ball called; the numbers are not interchangeable. These numbers will be collected by the Guide or CM running games before POTLUCK is actually played. Once selected, POTLUCK numbers cannot be changed until the Potluck session, for the day, ends. At the conclusion of each Bingo game during Potluck, the Guide or CM will type the first and last balls called for that game. If your Potluck numbers match the numbers that the Guide typed into chat, in order, then you win the current POTLUCK jackpot! If more than one player wins on the same number, then they split the jackpot. The cutoff time for joining Potluck is the end of the 6pm Eastern Coverall. The Guide or CM running Potluck will keep a list of the players that were present at the conclusion of this Coverall… if you if you were not in the room at that time then you may not participate in Potluck, although you may win other chat games. The POTLUCK prize starts at $50.00. If no player wins POTLUCK during the POTLUCK hours, then the POTLUCK jackpot is increased by $5 up to a maximum of $250.

Late Night Lotto

Played nightly, from 9-11pm Eastern (6-8pm Pacific) To play Lotto, each player selects three numbers and gives them to the Guide or CM running Lotto that night. That Guide or CM will keep a list of current players, their Lotto numbers, and the current Lotto Jackpot. Once selected, Lotto numbers cannot be changed until Lotto has been won, even if this takes several days to happen. When Lotto is won, players can then select new numbers for the next Lotto game or keep the same ones if they prefer. The first ball called in each bingo game becomes a Lotto ball. After each bingo game, the guide repeats all the Lotto balls that have been called so far. If a player matches all 3 of their selected numbers to the Lotto balls, they win the Lotto Prize. In the event that multiple players have the same numbers, the Lotto prize is split, to a minimum of $25 each. The Lotto Prize starts at $50. If Lotto is not won by the end of the night, then the Lotto Prize is increased by $5 up to a maximum of $250.

3 In A Row

Players pick a B column number (1-15); the Guide or CM running the game will keep a list of these numbers for the hour. Watch the row that corresponds to the number you picked on the Bingo Call Board. The first row to connect three 3 numbers wins; the numbers must be strung together, not spaced across the row.

BLANKS

This is a word guessing game. The host starts by giving the room one letter of a word. For example, if the word is "BINGO" the host might start out with: _ _ N _ _ Then everyone gets one guess at the word. Each player may guess ONE time. If no one is correct the host adds one letter. For example: _ _ N _ O Each player gets one more guess. The host keeps adding letters, with everyone getting one guess at the word with each letter added. Whoever guesses correctly first wins the prize, announced by the Guide before the Blanks game began. The host never completes the word, always leaves at least one blank. Whoever gets the word correct has to sit out for one word, and if they get 3 in less than an hour they are out for the rest of that hour.

The Buddy Games:
Regular Buddy

Who is your buddy? Look at the chat log and notice the person above and below you. Whoever wins bingo, (must be in chat room, not pop in when game is over) the person above and/or below at the end of the game wins a prize. The Guide will announce the amount of the prize at the beginning of each game. This game has many variations, the most common being: 1. The person above the bingo winner is the Buddy winner 2. The person below the bingo winner is the Buddy winner 3. Both are winners.

Buddy Dauber

A Buddy game variation; this is an imaginary dauber which is passed from buddy to buddy. Whoever holds the dauber at the end of the hour wins the stated amount. For example, the guide might say, “buddy above, dauber below” so if a roomie bingos, the person above wins BFH bucks, the dauber is passed to the person below. At the end of the hour the dauber is passed back to the guide in exchange for BFH bucks. The guide will announce the dauber value at the beginning of each bingo game.

Buddy Poker

This is a variation of the Buddy game. The Guide or CM running the game will announce whether the Poker winner will be above the person who bingos or beneath them (above or below). The last four balls called in a bingo game determine your poker hand. (Two G's and two N's were called). The last four balls called are shown at the bottom of the caller box to the right of your cards. Possible winning hands are: 4 of a kind (of the same letter, B I N G or O) = 21 Bucks 3 of a kind = 14 Bucks 2 pair = 9 Bucks 1 pair = 6 Bucks Nothing = 3 Bucks

Buddy Treasures

The Guide chooses 15 numbers (3 from each letter - 3 B’s, 3 I’s, 3 N’s, 3 G’s, and 3 O’s) and designates a prize amount to each one. There will be: (5) 4 Buck balls, (5) 8 Buck balls, (4) 12 Buck balls, and (1) 23 Buck ball. The Guide watches when roomies bingo. When someone in the chat room bingos on a hidden number, their buddies above and below at the end of the game win the treasure indicated. The Guide always sends a copy of the treasure numbers to the BFH staff so you can be sure they are fair and are not cheating.

Buddies X2

This is a variation on the regular Buddy game. Everything is the same except when a BFH GUIDE wins bingo, even if the winner is not the Guide scheduled to run games at that time, the person above and below wins 26 Bucks and the 2nd person above and below wins 11 Bucks!

Buddy 14-7-3

This game is just like Regular Buddy except the 1st person, listed above and/or below the bingo winner, wins 14 Bucks, the second person listed wins 7 Bucks and the third person wins 3 Bucks.

Progressive Buddy

This game is just like Regular Buddy game except that the prize is progressive and will start at an amount determined by the Guide running games (typically 7-11 Bucks). If bingo is not won in the chat room, 2 Bucks are added to the prize; this continues until someone in the chat room gets a bingo.

Surprise Buddy

Another variation on Regular Buddy, the buddies are determined by the last ball called. The first digit of the last ball called determines the upper buddy position and the 2nd digit determines the position of the buddy below. If the bingo number ends in 0, or if the bingo number is a single-digit number (1-9), then the 1st number determines both buddy winners. EXAMPLE 1: If a player in the chat room bingos on 34, then the third player above and the fourth player below the person who bingos win the buddy prize. EXAMPLE 2: If a player in the chat room bingos on 40, then the 4th player above and the 4th player below win the buddy prize.

Crossword

This like working a regular crossword puzzle except that the Guide gives the clues. The Guide will give a clue and the number of letters. EXAMPLE: “man’s best friend” (3) would be the clue for Dog. Each player then gets one chance to guess the correct word. If no one is guesses the answer, the host may give a clue. Prizes are determined by the Guide or CM running the game and will be announced prior to the beginning of each bingo game. If additional clues have to be given, then the prize will be reduced by 2 Bucks for each additional clue. If a player wins the Crossword game, then they cannot participate in the next game’s Crossword. After this one-game rest period, they may again participate until they win a maximum of three chat games for that hour.

First 5

Each player picks a number from 1 to 75; the Guide or CM running First 5 will keep a copy of all the numbers selected for the hour. At the beginning of a game the Guide will type all the first 5 numbers called into the chat window. The number has to appear in chat before a player can claim it. The player who matches his or her number first will type, "STOP" into chat. The game is over when the first 5 numbers have been called. If no player claims a win at that time then there is no First 5 winner for that game.

First 5 Prizes

1st number out = 14 Bucks 2nd or 3rd number out = 9 Bucks 4th or 5th number out = 5 Bucks

Hot Ball

Hot Ball is a progressive jackpot that is won when a player in the chat room bingos on the Hot Ball. The Hot Ball is active whenever a Guide or CM is announces that it is; usually when they are running games. The Hot ball cannot be activated AFTER it is won, it must be active before the current game begins. When the Hot Ball is won, the person who won it will choose the new Hot Ball number (any number, 1-75). The Hot Ball starts at $5. For every day that it is not won, it increases in value another $5. Guide cannot win a Hot Ball if they are the ones running the chat games. Off-duty Guides can win it. Multiple winners split the Hot Ball if it is $10 or more with a minimum win of $5 per winner.

Lucky Numbers

Players in the chat room give the Guide or CM a number at beginning of the session (or when they enter the room). Then if anyone, even a player who is not in the chat room, bingos on that number they win an amount, stipulated by the guide or CM at the beginning of the game. Players are responsible for noticing if their number was the last one called and telling the Guide that they won. The Guide will then verify the number and the player will win the prize. If no one claims the prize before the next game has begun, then that prize is null and void. As a variation on this game, instead of becoming null and void, the previous prize is added to the new prize, again and again, until it is finally won. This variation is sometimes called Super Dauber.

Pairs

Each player selects two numbers 1-75; the Guide or CM running the game will keep a list of these numbers for the hour. Each player is responsible for watching for his or her own numbers to be called. When a player thinks both of their numbers have been called, they type ‘PAIRS’, in capital letters, into the chat window. The Guide then verifies that the player's numbers have been called and awards the prize. Prizes are determined by the Guide or CM running the game and will be announced prior to the beginning of each bingo game.

Roulette

Each player picks a number from 1 to 75; each number can only be used by 2 players. At the beginning of the game the Guide will type the first 15 numbers called into the chat window. The number has to appear in the chat window before a player can claim it. The player who matches his or her number first will type, "STOP" into chat window. Depending on the call number that the player got his or her number on, a prize will be awarded (see below). The game is over when the first 15 numbers have been called. If no player claims a win at that time, there is no roulette winner for that game.

Roulette Payout:

1st number out = 14 Bucks 2nd to 5th out = 10 Bucks 6th to 10th out = 6 Bucks 11th to 15th out = 3 Bucks

Scrambled Word

The hosting guide will scramble a word and write the scrambled letters into the chat room along with the prize amount, in Bucks. The first player to correctly type in the word wins the prize. Prizes vary depending on the number of players in the room and the Guide's budget. Spelling counts in unscrambling the word. If a clue is needed to unscramble the word the prize may be lowered. To be fair to all players, when you win a scrambled word, you will be required to sit out the next scrambled word. After the next word is guessed, you may get back into the scrambled word game. You can win 3 scrambled word games within an hour and you will be asked to sit out for the remainder of the hour.

Train

Players pick a train number from 1-15. Watch your numbers on the Bingo Board on the right side of the bingo applet. If the row that corresponds to the number that you picked lights up before any of the other rows, you win the train. The guide or CM running the games will announce what the prize will be before the game begins. VARIATIONS: Play is exactly the same but the theme is changed to something other than a train. Some possibilities are:

* NASCAR RACES * INDY 75 * THE DOG TRACK * THE HORSE RACES * TURTLES * RABBITS

Trivia

The guide or CM running games will write a trivia question into the chat window. The answer will be pre-determined by the guide or CM. The first person to answer correctly wins the prize. Prior to starting the Trivia game the guide or CM will establish whether or not players are allowed to guess once, twice or many times. Only one trivia question will be asked per game. Prize amounts for this game, in Bucks, will be established by the guide or CM running this game prior to asking the Trivia question. To be fair to all players, when you win a trivia game you will required to sit out on the next trivia game. After the next game is completed, you may get back into the trivia game. You can win 3 trivia games within an hour and you will be asked to sit out for the remainder of the hour.
